Pete the Cat: I Love my White Shoes
Pete the Cat: I love my White Shoes, written by Eric Lorain, is such a fun book when learning colors. Pete the Cat Wales around town in his white shoes and steps into certain things that causes his shoes to change colors. I can use this book in my classroom when teaching colors and connecting colors to what the students see on a daily basis. I can give my students a specific color item in the classroom and have them go and point it out so that I can get them accustomed to acknowledging colors!
